With the end of the project, the software is not available for public access any more. The most current version is available for download and requires to register an e-mail address and a fee based activation. For testing purposes a demo version is available also, with limited functionality.
ANY DISTRIBUTION OR HOSTING OF OUR SOFTWARE ON OTHER SERVERS IS PROHIBITED!
Registered users will find downloads available for them in their own "My Downloads" area.
To support the development of new software, the source code of the PalmOS version has been made publicly available. The sources may be used according to the GPL. The required development environment can be downloaded from the manufacturer's (Handheld Basic) website.
Thanks to the help of volunteers, translating the original text into other languages, now serveral other versions can be downloaded from the download directory:
Buell Tuning Guide DE V1.0 (auf Deutsch)
Buell Tuning Guide ES V1.0 (en español)
Buell Tuning Guide FR V1.0 (en français)To load an EEPROM copy into one of the tools shown below, you might want to get EcmRead - a small utility to read EEPROM data from or write them back to the ECM. (You have to download a Mono runtime environment to make it work.)

Those prefering an offline editor to adjust EEPROM copies will find an excellent tool in Mark Mansur'es TunerPro software. Originally used for car tuning is it applicable for editing purposes of EEPROM files also. Tables and lists will be shown as numbers or graphical views, and up to four different EEPROM files can be loaded into this software for comparison. This tool is strictly recommended to everyone, who needs full access to the data.
To assign the numbers from the EEPROM data to the right variable in TunerPro, a so called "bin definition" has to be installed, describing the layout of the various EEPROM versions. You can download these files from the EEPROM-info pages, listed in the "Specific Information" section of the menu in the upper left.
For watching and analyzing logfiles created by EcmSpy Phil Tobin's MegaLogViewer is the software of first choice. This application not only provides a view on the logs but also analyzes your fuel maps (if supplied with them)! And the current version supports especially Buells and EcmSpy. Follow the link to download this tremendous software:
Logfiles on the PDA are stored in binary format, that needs to be converted to text before watching the log with the MegaLogViewer. This could be done directly on the PDA, but it's very slow. Much faster is a PC running this data conversion tool. Requires a Java runtime engine):
Another very helpfull tool is WinOLS. This software is specially made for analyzing EEPROM contents, primarily cars. The commercial edition is expensive, but the manufacturer also offers a demo version, which is fully sufficient for our needs. The user interface is available in both English and German. Please follow this link to get to the WinOLS home page:
